Panic Channel got their name from the idea that the band is like a television, where you can change back and forth between different channels without warning. They describe themselves as a "2nd page nature species band". The English is more of a bad website-translator result, "A band with two faces" is more of an exact translation. So as implied, Panic Channel has two personas: a rock band and a visual band. Each band's image and music style is a sort of comedic response to the visual trends of these days.
