Band Bio - History of the Freaks

"The band was started Christmas 2003 by Tom, with Kyle as the co-founder. The whole point of the band was so that they could make fun of another band they didnt like. Kyle had started playing drums in September 2003, and Tom thought maybe it could go somewhere, if they took it seriously.
Tom had already taken guitar lessons in school before, but quit because he found them boring. Since he had lessons, he had a beginners acoustic guitar, (a little pile of wooden crap with nylon strings) so he got that down out of the attic and started learning.
Pretty soon, Tom and Kyle were learning and playing songs together like wild-fire. (the first song they ever played was Blink 182's 'All The Small Things') Only one thing left to do. Get a bass player...
They already knew who to ask, a guy named Adam Tibble. They asked him to join the band, he said yes, they had a bass player. With one problem. As soon as they asked him, they practised, and his bass broke. So, as there was no replacement, they were bass-less once again.
So Tom and Kyle continued on their two-man-band journey. Adam was still part of the band, he just couldn't practise with them. They needed someone to help them with the singing, as Tom had decided it was difficult to sing and play at the same time. So they went in search of a lead singer...
Again, they knew who to ask, a guy called Lewis Allen. So again, to put it simply, they asked, he said yes, they had a singer. The reason they asked Lew was because they'd heard him sing in the past. So the band had as many members as it needed, just one was intrument-less. Tom and Kyle continued practising songs, and were starting to write some of their own. (The beginnings of 'My Bad' and 'Get A Life' were written around this time...)
They practised at Kyle's house one day in about June 2004, still with no bass. Adam came too, as Kyle's brother Aaron had a bass guitar, which he had been playing for about a month. Adam decided he didnt want to play that day, so they practised with Aaron instead.
The next day Tom and Kyle sat down with Lewis to discuss the bass player(s). They eventually came to the decision that Aaron was the right person for it, due to many reasons. They told Adam, he accepted, and so Aaron was the new bass player. Lewis also eventually left the band, due to undisclosed reasons, leaving Tom, Aaron and Kyle as they are now.
They have decided that the line up is now solid, and isnt going to change again, and they will be recording a live demo at the Dugout Recording Studio in Early 2006. The tracks will be put up on here as soon as they are recorded..."
