"The 5 talented musicians from Honolulu,HI (now based in Orange County, CA) have released their follow up to "Transient Colors" with their new EP: "The Process of Illumination". It is a truly fresh intricate piece of work receiving attention by music industry elites and earning the band a deal with Orange County based management: Alaska MGMT (Warped Tour, Warner Music Group). The songs were produced by Bret Hudzietz of Farewell Studios and mastered by Beau Burchell of the popular Post Hardcore act Saosin."

Taking a step to conquer the modern music industry, "The Process of Illumination" was released as a free download for fans. The album feeds off a heavy influence from technical alternative rock acts such as Circa Survive, while maintaining the pop sensibilities of acts like Paramore. With the help of Hudzietz and Burchell pushing the band to deliver a tighter sound than before, Hawaii natives PACIFICA have surely produced their best work to date.

With a planned Fall American tour, PACIFICA will be taking their explosive live show on the road in support of "The Process of Illumination". The initial response has been more than overwhelming with over 2,000 unique downloads in the first month. The EP is now available for free download on the band's website.
