Formed in Seattle, WA Otisburg draws upon an exceptionally broad array of music influences ranging from the Descendents to the Beatles. Striking an unusually positive chord in todays melodramatic musical landscape, Otisburg treads a fine line between punk, indie and power-pop with traces of hardcore. Their meaningful lyrics and acoustic laden power-chord guitar riffs will take you on a voyage through reflection and redemption guaranteed to consistently entertain and inspire alike.

Born Yesterday is now available for your listening pleasure (or displeasure) at http://www.virb.com/otisburg.
It will soon be available for download.
The decision was made to release this album as an internet-only release. This decision was reached due partly to financial constraints but also due to the fact that we really aren't in this for the money so we figured we would just release it for those that wanted to hear it and try to get the word out to those who don't know us.
Enjoy!

Sorry it has taken so long to update this thing.
The artwork has been coming along very slowly since I last updated this but finally picked back up here a few days ago.
The artwork is all but done and the CD should be ready to go to print within a couple of weeks (or sooner even!).
I will try and remain diligent in updating this site to keep you all updated on when Born Yesterday will finally be released

A couple of months ago, Steve and the Otisburg legacy moved from Seattle to the quiet midwestern town of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He is currently in the process of rebuilding the band and hopefully will have some good news about playing some shows sometime soon.

Well, I guess I will start off with the bad news. This past weekend the hard drive crashed on the computer where all the music files were stored. The outcome of this being that all of our rough mixes and tracks for the Born Yesterday album were lost. The end result of this of course being that there will not be a Born Yesterday album.
The good news is that there were a couple of rough mix files that were saved on the server. So even though there will not be an OTISBURG album, I am going to go ahead and upload what we do have on here and on our MySpace page. Probably just streaming for now but eventually, I might decide to put them up for download.
Thanks for all the support.
