The best way to describe Operation JoyKill (or OJK, if you are lazy) is the term "Indiemo and Roll". The basis is Rock and Roll, with emo-punk energy and indie quirkyness.

We formed in early 2006 at Dordt (as in Dortrecht, not as in Dork) College in Sioux Center, Iowa, and have been writing and performing as much as possible since. In mid 2006 we recorded the "Better than Dead Air EP", available for $3.00 by way of email.

We hope to continue to write good music and start playing in new places, expanding our range. Feel free to contact us.
