So you might be wondering what Opera Mystica is up to if they aren't playing anywhere and not a single show is posted? Well we are currently making more songs to add some diversity in our set from show to show. Our latest show was at the Moisty Skatepark in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Everything went down ok, there were a couple of clouds threatening the show from going on but thanks to God, rain didn't fall. I've posted some pictures so you can see them and get a kind of glimpse i guess of how it went down. There were six other bands and in three of them our bass player Jose was there playing. This is all we have done so far and soon I will post new dates. Thanks for stopping by! Take care and God Bless!

Hey! Welcome to our online page. Opera Mystica is a band from Puerto RIco. We currently live and play in Puerto Rico. If you have heard us you know what were about, if you haven't well I have posted 3 songs so you can hear out. Thats from a radio station we played a while ago. We play with local bands including Dracmas, Pacto de Sangre, Nightflame, Filacteria, and Errant Society among other locals around the island. When you listen to us you will notice a bunch of styles mixed together. This is mainly because our influences are so varied, each member has his own style and when the moment comes to sit down and make songs each one has diferent ideas, and with this variation you can consider our songs progressive. Just by hearing five seconds you will notice we are obviously a metal band. Our influences range from the agressiveness of Soilwork and Into Eternity, the melodies of Symphony X and Adagio, the progressiveness of Dream Theater, the breakdowns of Unearth and the originality of us. We also complement our songs with a lot of solos from guitars or bass. Each having their own style, they complement the songs' structure making each unique and different. We hope you enjoy listening to our band and we would like to recieve some kind of feedback of what you think. Thanks for listining! Live Metal!
