Formerly, One Step Out was a 2 pieces band of friends : Germain (drums/back vocals) and Jerome (solo guitar) who play punkrock in a bedroom on Saturday evening in Amboise (France).

The line-up is changing on and on until JB (Germain's brother) joins the band as lead guitarist. They grow up listening listening to American bands like No Use For A Name , NOFX , Propaghandi and Swedish bands like No Fun At All , Adhesive, Satanic Surfers Meanwhile 2 demos will be released and the band will perform in several concerts in their home town area.

In 2002, Alex (guitar/lead vocals in Buddyweed) and Jerome (guitar in Fatducks) join the band. From this time, the music of One Step Out becomes more mature and finds its own identity.

After one year and a half of rehearsals, composition and new influences ( Undeclinable , Thrice , Rise Against , Boys Set Fire ), they come back with a new 6 titles CD and lots of shows done on french punkrock scenes.

From melodious punkrock hits (Wakin' Up), pop songs (My friend), metal riffs (Rising, Irak) to emo ( Darkness).
