Ladies and Gentlemen:
First, I would like to officially announce that our Album, Good Morning Illumination, will be released May 25th, and to celebrate this occasion, we are going to be playing a CD Release show at the Recher Theatre. [May 25th] For more information please check our MySpace updates.
But with the good, comes the bad. Our drummer and friend Evan Chapman will no longer be working with Oh, the Story! Evan has big goals for his future, and right now, he has much more important things to focus on than being in a band. We all still love Evan, and he still loves us. We of course, wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors, and we hope we have the honor of playing music with him again in the future.
Weve known about this for a few months now, he actually told us long before we started writing for the album, but he stuck around to see this through and we really appreciate that. In fact, Evan will be playing our CD Release show in May. And if were lucky, maybe a few other dates.
While weve been busy working on the album, we still have been keeping an eye out for drummers. We have a handful of auditions lined up, but we are stilling looking for a new drummer. If you know anyone, or you are interested in trying out, please contact the band via MySpace.
Well, I think that about sums it all up. We love you, and were more excited for you to hear the album, then you are to hear it!
Lots of love,
James
