Of Hearts & Dreams formed from the ashes of 7 ways to 1 day. Madlener went off to go pursue his music career in a different band named Hiaght & Ashbury as a Drummer. Serafin went off and formed a new band and Snyder went to off to do his solo project. With one show remaining on 7 ways to 1 day's list of shows Snyder called Madlener up and asked if he would be interested in doing a side project with him called Fate's Law. With the two back together they quickly began writing new material with a more in your face punk rock style. Serafin quickly joined back up with the two and they decided to change the name from Fate's law to Of Hearts & Dreams. With songs coming out of no were they look to take the South suburbs of Chicago by storm.
