I am currently working on material for my 2011 full-length studio album, Architects & Dreamers. Until its release, all 13 of my demos are available for download through PureVolume. "Sacrifice (All That I Am)", "Will I Ever Know", "Take Me", and "I Will Let Go (If You Ask Me To)" are the newest. "At Least For Today", "Delmarva", and "Overcome" were written and recorded in late 2009. The remaining demos were recorded over the past couple years. "Sacrifice (All That I Am)" will serve as the final demo for Focusing The Lens: The Demos, the compilation album featuring all of my demo work.

Keep in mind while listening to these songs that they are only demos. Some are a bit raw sounding, and there are a few that are quite short; however, the newest demos are more thoroughly written and produced. None of the demos have bass guitar, and most do not have percussion (some do). I was initially hesitant to put them on here, but a lot of people asked me to post them.

As for the upcoming full-length album, I anticipate putting anywhere from 10 to 14 songs on it, which will touch upon a wide range of alternative styles including acoustic, shoegaze, hard rock, and possibly tribal. In regard to the percussion that will be on the album, I will be doing some of it, but Jeremy Hummel, the first drummer for the platinum rock band Breaking Benjamin, will be taking care of the majority of the album's percussion. Jeremy did all of the drumming and percussion for the band's first two albums, Saturate and We Are Not Alone, which featured the smash hits "Polyamorous", "So Cold", "Rain", and "Sooner or Later". Jeremy also contributed outstanding percussion to the band's epic single, "Blow Me Away", which was featured in Halo 2. He continues to stand out in the professional music scene as an undeniably talented, versatile drummer. I am very excited about this collaboration with Jeremy and am anxious to see where this album goes.

Check back for updates regarding the solo album which will feature studio versions of "Overcome", "Delmarva", "Alone", "At Least For Today", "I Will Let Go (If You Ask Me To)", "Take Me", "Will I Ever Know", "Sacrifice (All That I Am)", and possibly "Egocentric" (as well as others that were never recorded as demos).

Now that I am done recording demos and have planned out most of the songs that will be included on the full-length, my main focus will turn to the meticulous self-production of Architects & Dreamers and working with Jeremy Hummel over the course of the coming months. Stay tuned... 2011 will be big for Ocean Bound.
