Bio:
Nunchuk, is a widely known energetic three piece trio playing an original style of Surfer Indie-Grunge. Based out of the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, Nunchuk combines a multitude of musical styles with an unbeatable smashing stage performance.

Since the creation of Nunchuk in the fall of 2004 they have accomplished many positive things towards their music career. Nunchuk has recorded their first EP titled, Even Lifeguards Drown recorded at The Wall of Sound Studios, Co-Produced by John Wall. Even Lifeguards Drown was released the summer of 2005 and captured the pure emotion and future potential of the band. Following the release of the EP, Nunchuk embarked on several tours through out the Southwest. In the spring of 2006 Nunchuk released the Rest Assured Single and toured out to LA to play at the world famous Whiskey a Go Go, hitting every major city in between. All to promote the future release of the full length LP due out late summer of 2007.

Nunchuk has won three New Mexico Music Awards for best Main Steam Rock, best Alternative Rock Production and best Punk Production. They also took 1st place in three, New Mexico Battle of the Bands. Nunchuk has had the opportunity to open for national acts such as Warped Tours Go Betty Go, and April Sixth.

The band is currently finishing up their highly anticipated full length album at the Wall of Sound Studios. Its tentative release date is set around late summer of 2007. National and local touring is set to follow its release.
