In combining the rich musical heritage of Uruguay with the sounds of rock, reggae and ska, NTVG is moving down a singular path that has placed them at the vanguard of the Rio de la Plata music scene. With intelligent and moving lyrics joining a musicality that frees them from every label of categorization, NTVG has built a truly unique voice which effortlessly travels between the native and the cosmopolitan.
With four studio albums and two live DVDs showcasing their monumental performances, NTVG has cemented their position as one of the greatest bands in one of the greatest musical cities (Montevideo) in all of Latin America. Certified triple platinum and a bonafide stadium act in Uruguay, the band has also taken its music around the world with concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Argentina, where their popularity is constantly growing.
While working on their fifth album for release later this year, the band is continuing to play select live dates. Upcoming concerts include two shows at the Teatro de Verano in Montevideo, as well as two major festival dates: Quilmes Rock in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Festival Poprock in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In June the band will tour Spain for the fourth time, and the fall should see the band making its debut in North America. 2008 is already shaping up to be another great year for NTVG.

Holaa no se que decir despues de escuchar la cancion nueva, "Esos Ojos" - "... pudiste apagar la luz y no apagaste sus almas, quisiste tapar el sol pero no tapaste nada..." El tema esta buenisimo, parece que va a venir un cd muy bueno. La verdad es que no me canso de escucharla, siempre me pasa lo mismo con todas sus canciones. Bueno gente, los voy a dejar de alagar porque si no se cansan, ya todo el mundo le debe de decir lo mismo jaja. Bueno con muchas ganas que salga el disco, y esperando que vuelvan a tocar aca en casa para poder disfrutar como disfrute el 11 de abril mientras llovia y hacia muuucho frio jaja.
