Hey guys,
Some cool news, I just got off the phone with Ace Enders (The Early November, Ace Enders and a Million Different People, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody’s Business) and it looks like we are going to be driving out to New Jersey to work on a couple of songs with him on August 10th through the 12th. He runs a studio in Hampton, New Jersey called Pink Space (you can check out the studio’s myspace at myspace.com/pinkspacerecording.) We are super stoked on being able to work with Ace and to release some new music for you guys. We will be sure to keep you all updated with bulletins, facebook updates, tweets, videos, and anything else we can think of. Keep checking in for more details. Thanks for all your support! Also… Hampton is about a 20 hour drive so leave us some love for our trip. We leave Saturday. See you all soon.

Bio
The King and The Thief is Dan Mariska, Tom Waterman, Kevin Goff, and Joe Lampman. Based out of Minneapolis, MN the group brings a refreshing blend of ambient rock music to the land of 10,000 lakes. Since the release of their 2008 EP of wounds and blessings… the band (under the name Now and Forever) has gained substantial local and regional attention. "The King" is currently writing for their next release expected to be available in summer/fall 2009. Heavy touring plans lay ahead in hopes of establishing a healthy national following. Keep an eye on this hard working band. They won't be a Minneapolis secret for long...
