PureVolume

Novum is a solo artist who lives in Tokyo.

He started music composition in earnest after he graduated from a sound technology vocational college.

He released his first album, "Soneodia", from his own label, Slow Label, in 2006. Novum's music is sickly and ephemeral like a light faintly flickering in the darkness.

Light and dark, life and death, and the infinite world of the other ends. His unique worldview which produces a small universe of small life is supported passionately.

He created a simple and light work as a first step for activities in the future.


Soneodia is Novum's debut work.

It's cool ambient music with a slight scent like aroma.

The dreamy and fantastic music sounds like relaxed breathing and is soft and easy to hear.

The coined term, Soneodia, which has no specific meaning was born based on the concept to leave a room for imagination for listeners.

It is ingenuous and simple and you may listen to it over an over curiously.
