Nostradamus Junior @ 6Underground, Makati City

March 29, 2007, 6Underground Bar and Resto, Palanca Street, Makati City. Now its finally over. The date ive been waiting for (as nostradamus junior) after a dried out gig list for almost 3 months (ah! im not counting-in our set in La Union im only pertaining to Manila gigshehe!).. the last time was last December 13, 2006 same venue 6UG.

Along with other Manila based bands, we played 2nd which is supposedly 4th slot at 10:30 pm. The thing is, Brendon(our bassist) cant stay an hour more. Who would want to be late on a 30,000 mothly salary job? Hehehe! Thanks to Glenah (our road manager) for arranging our time slot with the organizer.

Theres no sign of Neil again. No comment! Thats it!

Surprisingly it was a good performance (I mean, thats how I feel it), the fact that we did no practice again, hehe!. Our guests were impressed? Maybe YES, maybe NO! It doesnt matter. We enjoy our set and that matters most. We are also lucky to have the band Eyescream as one of our guests that night. For your information - Eyescream: a recording artist, from Nueva Ecija, debut album MEMORIES released under Rebolusyon Rekords. Suportahan natin!. This guys are our friends, since Mon2 did their sound engineering at Sound-Weavers Recording Studio in Makati (where mon2 works).
Oh! I almost forgot, this event was made possible by Mr. Bossman Bobby of Quarterback music and Neo Jam Series. Other bands who played that night were Pixel, Molave-Drive, Androgyny, Chunkrew, SOTC, & Oremus.

Nice jamming with the rest of Neo Jam family!!!

Redhorse Jam @ G5 Resto Bar

The date was March 23, 2007 @ G5 Resto Bar, along Quezon Avenue, City of San Fernando, La Union.The said event was produced and organized by Redhorse Beer. With the help of Maam Gnet (owner of the venue) we (nostraJr) were booked in. We had 2 sets that night both before the time slot of the band Mayonnaise. First set was: G5 Resto Bar main. Second set was: G5 Extension.

Sana Kung. I sang that song with Mayonnaise. Monty (Mayonnaises front man) ask me upstage to sing it for him but unfortunately Im not familiar with the stanzas lyrics so i ended up singing the chorus parts.

Mon2 and Brendon, since they are not around for the gig, Fish and Chester of the band Shiva Shanti took the replacements. Buyan (Shiva Shantis vocalist) jammed with us for our first song KJ. He claimed it as his favorite among Nostras songs.

Eventually, Shiva Shanti had their chance to play since they can actually play even without guitarist Jon-jon (a.k.a Kaliwete ) and the fact that they are not included in the bands roster that night. Actually it was planned that way - that after Nostras set, it will be their turn of course with Maki on Jon-jons place. The result: G5 regular guests and the rest of the audience did had a REAL taste of REGGAE,.. I mean a deeper kick of REGGAE MUSIC mixed with FUNKY BEATS and SLAPS thats the end I hope of some people recognizing only one song as a reggae Sublimes Santeria - oh come on!!! Now what? Hehehe! Peace guys!!!

Other bands who played in the said event were Cases of the Missing Panties, Cereal Bunny, Goodbye Tracy and Recycle Band.
