...North was formed by the timing and moving of the Holy Spirit. Calvary Community Church (www.calvaryphx.com) with Pastor Mark Martin, was expanding and needing more places for people to hear the Word of GOD. The idea of multiple sanctuaries with different genres of worship was formed. That thought was completed first with the NORTH sanctuary. With a more Raw, Alternative, Rock type of worship, former youth worship leader Ben Phillips took lead in the NORTH sanctuary. Through the worship teams created, the members of NORTH were brought together. Soon after, lead singer/songwriter Ben Phillips felt a calling from GOD to pursue creating a worship project.

New Song

Yes the rumors are true. A new cd is on the horizon for North, Which means that practices are in session and Ben will shortly be heading out shortly to record acoustic trax! Im so stoked to see what God will be doing this next year. Things are just starting to come together and God is blessing us in so many ways. Please continue to pray for us as we are about to embark on a new journey into the unknown. We just posted a new song; this song will be on our new album. The song is called “Always Yours”, the story behind it is amazing, and you’ll have to ask Ben about it sometime. Lol….Amber and Ben were asked to play it live last night in service and it came out amazing. I hope you guys enjoy it and I hope the words speak to you. New Project/Recording

Hey ya'll, I hope this summer finds you on fire... ...for Jesus It's wicked hot here in AZ... wicked hot Well we're on our way back into the studio. The next set of songs are almost entirely songs we play live that we'll be working out in the studio (unlike the last project which was composed almost entirely of studio songs). Songs like "Closer", "You are Glorified", and "I am Overwhelmed" will be at the top of the list due to our thousands of adoring fans constantly asking when they'll hear a CD of "our new stuff"... ... ok, I got an email or two... but for real we've been so blessed by the support we've recieved especially from our home church (www.calvaryphx.com) and so many National Radio stations - 90.3/102.3 KACS SW Washington /// KNWJ Nola Pago Pago, AS (that's right...
