We started by opening for the band BarlowGirl on Friday. There was a very sweet spirit the entire night! What a blessing to have been a part of it. We had a blast seeing lots of "old" friends and meeting a BUNCH of new ones! The "Million Voices Tour" artists, management and crew were gracious and welcoming. It was great getting to meet the Barlow sisters and sharing amusing family/pet stories! We also spent a bit of hang out time with an artist named Brooke Barrettsmith. For those who don't know her stuff ... give her a listen on myspace (http://www.myspace.com/brookebarrettsmith) . Not only is she a SWEETHEART but a very talented sweetheart to top it off! She rocked it harder than most guys! (YOU GO GIRL!) We will have pics up as soon we get them. The next night was Holly Starr's cd release party in Quincy. The place was JAMMED PACKED TO THE HILT with crazy rockers! WOW, it was fun. Our dear friend Bob Lenz turned the place out! It was estimated that 70 hands were raised to accept Jesus that night .. and 36 first time cards were turned in! We were also blessed to hear the sweet new sounds of Brandon Bee and his band (sorry guys .. had no pics of you all).! And to Holly Starr, Adam, and Endeavorance ... SUPER JOB! Thank you to the Grigg family - Holly, Gail and Loren for bringing us over to be a part of your celebration! And Clark Grigg for taking some fabulous pictures! The weekend was far from over ... we got to the hotel pretty late. That was especially hard, since we had to be at a church the next morning around 7:30 AM to lead worship ... so sleep was not going to be a big part of our plan :o) THEN (newlywed) Tiffiny drops her wedding ring down the sink ... yikes! A few (well a bit more than a few) frantic minutes later it was retrieved. The next morning we were all wiped out ... we won't even go into the story about our missed turn/long way around to church! But we had a great time during the two worship services and it is always a treat to hear Bob speak! So Sunday AM was very nice. Then, right after the service a guy comes up to Sean and asks to speak to him. He wanted to know what we were doing that afternoon ... he said he noticed that our trailer tires were "only being held together by God" *LOL* and that he felt the Holy Spirit leading him to bless us with new ones. We weren't even aware of how bad they were! So, thank you to Tim for listening to God and obeying his voice! It turns out Tim was MORE than correct ... we blew a trailer tire on the 30 mile trip to Cashmere. Praise God that Tim was right behind us! He and our boys took care of it. PRAISE GOD FOR MEN! Cause none of us girls wanted to get out and do that ... GROSS. Our last stop was in Cashmere. During the afternoon we participated in a great meeting with Bob and local area youth leaders. We're all in the midst of making plans for a school tour over in Eastern Washington in spring. It's EXCITING! Keep a look out for that! Then it was time for the night service. We couldn't even BEGIN to tell explain how special The Underground staff and youth group are to us! NOT ENOUGH ROOM HERE! Whether they're rocking out or worshipping they all really connect. It's so refreshing! Then Bob - once again - brought down the house! Most of us never expect 20 out of 100 kids in a regular youth group (well ok you're not regular! :o) to come to know the Lord as Savior... THAT, Added to the huge number of kids that committed to "go to the world" ... it blew all of our expectations out of the water. (In case you missed the math ... that is 90 total in the 2 days). Finally, we returned home ... exhausted, but so blessed to have been used by God so mightily this weekend! So many lives touched and changed! To include OURS! Our prayers continue to go out for them! OH MY .. before I forget .. let me thank our AWESOME sound guy Dave (from Underground) who hung out with us ALL weekend and made us sound GREAT! You are TOPS Dave! We are blessed to have gotten to know you!
Hey there, lovely people! *wink*
We're very excited about our newest project - our first ever worship album: "Worship Believe Praise Love"...
