ACOUSTIC RAGE
A completely new type of music has suddenly sprouted in the wake of an angry mood!! heh... piss'd was i at the lack of availablity for an internship, so i vent my frustration out on my guitar and my newly acquired dijimbe! for those of you who DONT know, the DIJIMBE is this african drum type thing... its realyl cool! my dad jes left it in my rom one day while i was out of town.. and i come back and its jes staring at me!! and i'm like WOOOHOOOO!!! wot a sweet dad i have!hehe.. nobody could get a better one! :)
ne way.. getting back to the point! ehheh.... so i took my acoustic guitar and started strumming away agnrily.. and this little piece jes poped out of nowhere.. adn i had no control over my hadns, cuz i dint know wot theywere doing so i recorded it! once recorded, i said... hey.. thats pretty cool.. lets put my dijimbe to test! and that resulted in what i woudl like to call ACOUSTIC RAGE.. the ultimate expression of vented frustration! hehehe since i've written so mch here, i don't even need to write a blog about it :P

sorry for the l8 blog post... extremely busy month.. hehe.. n e way.. to explain life cycle, ur gonna hafta notice t he end of the song, as well as the begining. the end of the song, when reversed, forms the beginign of the song, indicating that it is indeed a CYCLE. The song begins as a short, rewound clip of the previous cycle, and then forwards itself agen, to begin the cycle from square one. in the ebginign, it soudns like the begining of new life; youth, energy, enthusiasm, excitement, all carefree, igniting the world with new life and energy. son, as the guitar slowly dies down, we notice troubles and difficulties in the body of the song. the guitar wails, and weeps, as it feels all its zest for life, dissapear into nothingness.it feels like all is lost and it can't get any further down. but suddenly, an urgency of will power, rushes through it, like an explosion, giving the song a new meaning and a new phase of its life begining. a phase where it feels it aitn gnna rott its life away and its going to do somthing productive.. by the end of the song, it turns, grande, to signify satisfaction at the end of its life. ... and when looped, this again turns into the begining of the song.....
~ So is life, as we continue in our pointless endeavours, only to repeat the entire process of over a hundred years, over adn over again, in one never ending, mind boggling cycle, which denies all reason whatsoever.......

it all happened when i was listenin to harmonic paradise the original one.. lol.... and i was thinking to myself.. realy was a good idea making a tune out of harmonics... and i wondered... maybe its abuottime i did it again.. only this time.. a little snazzier... thus evolved harmonic paradise 2... more creativity, more feelin, and more innovative than the first.. yet.. i realize that ppl really don't expect much of sequels, so this is more of an experimental thing.. since i've put more effort into this piece than the first.. i'll hafta see how its recieved.. ehhehe.. its got a lot of a blues feel to it :) listen, and comment! :) cheers

this was a composition that flowed from from my fingers the moment i touched my keyboard...as i sat at my keyboard my mind was filled with thoughts about fantasy worlds, and mysteries that i may never understand.... a lone voyager struggling through a mysterious land... trying o find his way somewhere.. but he doesn't know where... trying to find the will to carry on.. but giving up at times..... as i closed my eyes, the vision began to materialize in the form of music... by the end of it, as i opened my eyes i brought myself back to reality and sed "HECK!!! i'd better work on this one...." io added the flute to give it a mystical feeling to it.. its different.. but my compositions dont' stick to one genre.. they keep changing, depending on teh mood.. so think of me as a composer of MUSIC rather than one of plain rock! n e way.. listen, enjoy and leave ur comments as usual.. u know the drill! hehhe

heh... one of my longest compositions yet.. it took me 7 days totally to compose and record this one.. less timing mistakes here.. i like the progressions that i've used so as to end the song on a completely different tone than when it started.. it starts out heavy, and with a metal growling type of feel, and endswith a more melodic touch.... the 2nd and 3rd riffs of the song, i composed along with my friend tushar from bangalore when i was there for a few days. he's a great pianist.... helped me out with the theory bit of it.. when i got back , i decided to work on them, and i ended up with this.. figured it'd be nice to deviate from my original style and try something a little more progressive!!! hehe.. leave ur coments..

when i was in one of those emotional moods, i started venting on my keyboard... and sudenly, my mood kinda became better, which explains the transition towards the end.... hehe.. i recorded this as i kept composing it, and i realize ther are mistakes in it, butif i changed it, it wouldn't be the same, cuz the feeling wouldn't be really the same as while i was composing it.. so since this is the 1st and only copy of this song there is, i decided to put this up either way as an example of how music can help cheer u up and also serve as a gr8 way to vent ur steam.. ehheheh

Mystic journey ..very cool..very addictive little
keyboard bit inbetween that repeats..& the switch to
higher octave and flute ending is excellent.but give a
little more definition to the keyboard bits
inbetween..would round it off.. peace raga:one
word:unexpected..you gotta hear this twice..hehe..first
time your kinda floored by the arab-ish mystic lilt
and NIPUN SINGING? *mild coronary* second time after
you recover from the shock hehe..the keyboard
equivalent to tap dancing hits you and you stay

The patch & feel stand out in lifecycle.but inbetween
in some parts the keyboard & guitars sound a little out
of sync..maybe coz of the delay or some fancy word but
the feel is tres bien! And harmonic paradise is
brilliant!!!..i dint want to like it..coz I loved 1
but I couldn%u2019t resist..chee.:).its amazing
throughout.lotsa little drops of heaven%u2019 and even
a teeny bit of part one thrown in for nostalgia..nice
touch..hehe..absolutely no criticism! :)
