Ninja Slap!!! An awesome band out of Falls Church, VA. In times when rock, rap, punk, ska, emo, metal, funk, and jazz are all separated and divided, we managed to poke fun and borrow elements of each to combine to make what one might call music...
These songs were recorded at the 4/8/05 concert at GM. They were some of the best quality-wise and playing wise.
We have concerts every once in awhile. If you would like to make it happen more often, call/IM/email us to arrange a time and date. We can and usually do play for free depending on the circumstances. We haven't mastered the new PV layout, so add us to your friends list or whatever it is here.
If your craving for NS drives you wild and you need more, more and possibly more, then go to our other sites. Tell your friends/family/enemies.

Wow. We haven't updated this whore in a long time. Anyway, several things have happened since the last post. We played a good show or two, we made new songs, we're working on new songs and we are almost recording our EP (I say almost, because the guy recording us claims to be busy). These summer months will provide a few shows in the short amount of time we have to play them before we go off to our seperate colleges. In fact, we might be playing a show on June 16th or 17th for a graduation party that will kick ass. Come for the party, stay long enough to hear music. That said, we'll have a few weeks, almost all in July, to play shows. If you want a show, don't sit around and bitch about how much you want a show. Call us and other people, create a party and simply let us fill the place with our musical vibes. We work for cheap, and when I say cheap, I mean very cheap. We're also possibly doing an FC tour, but that is under deliberation.
Other than that, all is well. These may be the final months that Ninja Slap will exist, so please don't hesitate to make them amazing. By having a concert, you're increasing not only your property values, but the worth of yourself as a person. Truly, the only thing greater than that is a bitchin' rock show. That's where we can come in.

Our quest to record with people who do not snort more cocaine than actually exists is almost complete. We're recording two albums at two different places. One of them is an actual label (Sap Trap Recordings) which can offer us all sorts of publicity and so on. The other is the very high-quality asskicking Asshat Recordings, which is just starting up and is run by Mike from Basmati. Both albums will do the following:
1. Kick ass.
2. Give hope to the hopeless.
3. Turn around the decline that rock has suffered.
4. Prove that Northern Virginia has more than just awful screamo bands.
5. Become a classic in your household.
6. Possibly cure a disease.
7. Most likely be sold for cheap.
Although Ninja Slap has made dozens of songs, each one as good as the next (the next being amazing), this will finally be the album that everyone has wanted to put on their CD playes/Ipods/ whatever. No longer will you look back and wonder why Ninja Slap never made an album, because you will have it! Everyone will win, and evil shall not triumph this time, unlike every other time where it did. After Spring Break (4/6-4/16) great ready to buy two of the genuinly great albums of the early 21st century!

There is very little to do in the Ninja Slap world. We are practicing new songs, most of which are not suitable for any place that we can play as they are offensive to women, men and ourselves. However, each one is brilliant in its own way. Our concert knowledge is low at best. We know for almost a fact that we're having one on the first of April, but the one in March is not definite and is more of a rumor at this point in time. There is another show in April that will be titled "JV2" because it's going to be the second JV show of the year. This is a far-out and radical idea that is just another excuse for us to unleash our brand of music on a suspecting public. All the light-turning-on in the world couldn't stop us last time, and there's no way it'll be able to this time.
We're also working on recording, but again, this is becoming a pipe dream. Our "producer" needs to "jump through hoops" in order to get us space. In the interest of getting a recording out before hell freezes over, we'll probably just record with someone else or at the home studio of one of the members of Basmati, who got it from the "Humor a Cripple" foundation. Once that gets installed and Basmati tests it, there will be little for us to do but record there and at the many other places we have talked to.
Ninjapalza is being worked out. Although I have yet to call the people who are graciously allowing us to use their yard for it, we have emailed a bit and soon I will call them to arrange things and nitpick details. Other than that, check back later so we can give you the details you crave.

Oh. My. Agod. Ninjapalza is almost complete. We have gotten permission to have it in Za's backyard in exchange for a few favors. Although we had to cut down the total number of bands, it will still kick so much ass that we'll have to import more ass just so we can kick it! We're giddy as schoolgirls for this concert, even though it's 3.5 months away. Our closer concerts are the probable March concert at school and the definite April 1 concert. Come to those to see rock in it's coolest non-dead band form!

This is Eamonn. I'm sick today, but that will not stop the concerts on Friday and Saturday even if they have to prop my corpse up next to a guitar and a mic. Odds are you couldn't tell the difference anyway. However, with our current situation involving the community center, the concert on friday might be changed to be held at my house. If this is the case, just show up at my house (address will be posted later) and bring $2 to get into the hottest concert in Falls Church VA, and therefore the world! We might record in Feb, but we'll see.
