I started playing guitar in 8th grade, and like a lot of things in my life it took a long time for me to do anything with it. I've been singing for as long as i can remember. When I was in grade school my mother took my radio away from me because I wouldnt sleep at night, id just stay up and sing along in the dark. Needless to say i got it back. in 7th grade i started vocal lessons. I took them up until i was a junior in highschool. I stoped because i felt like i wasnt getting better. I still have much to learn.
I starting writing music when i was in 9th grade, but found that nothing really came of it. I took a break through highschool and just worked on covers and tried to improve my guitar skills. The summer before i left for college I started writing music again. By that time i had been through way more, illness, heartbreak, love, betrayal and a little big of growing up. I left for college which sparked the ideas i had in me and i just started writing it all down.
College brought new friends and new oppurtunity's. I met Nick in November of 2005. We shared the same love for bright eyes and untraditional music. he was someone willing to sing with me. He made a studio which is where i do most of my recording and is where he does his. =) Hes been a termendous help to me over the last few months and hopefully there will be an ep soon.
as of now i have more unfinished songs then finished.. but what i do finish i think highly of and i hope you all will too.
