NIKKI GOODRICH

Acoustic / Folk Rock / Jazz

"I have something to offer this world. I'm not sure what it is yet, but I'm sure it looks a lot like Hope." -Nikki Goodrich

She's not your average girl-next-door. She's not 5'11 with long legs and weighing 125lbs. She doesn't have platinum blonde hair, but she will capture your attention. Nikki Goodrich, an acoustic/folk rock/jazz artist from Orlando, Florida has a smile that cannot be forgotten. It is the love in her eyes and the sincerity in her voice that will spark your interest and cause you to want just a little bit more. She is charismatic on stage as well as honest and raw. She loves to share her story of redemption and hope with those around her, as is evident in her most popular track, "Me (My Insufficient Fears)." "I am strong, I am weak, I am broken, but I'm on my feet," is just one of her confessional lyrics in the song. Her strong hooks, poetic lyrics, and intricate writing style are just enough for the listener to relate and find themselves lost in the musical world she creates for the duration of the song.

Nikki grew up in the Midwest but moved down to Orlando, Florida in 2004. She packed up a few items, bought a one-way plane ticket, and left everything she had ever known behind. She'd been singing since she was a child, but did not start her professional career in the music industry until the summer of 2005 when she played her first show in an old movie rental shop/bar opening for Orlando based band Cure for Caska. This was the first time she appeared in front of a larger audience singing her own music. Nikki knew that night would only be the start of all that was to come.

In the fall of 2005 Nikki met her current manager, Alonzo De Jesus and the two became friends. Over the next few months Alonzo naturally slipped into the role of her manager and the two began planning her first headlining tour, set to launch summer of 2006. Right before the launch of the Seasons to Eleanor tour with friend and Orlando based artist Chris Hall, Alonzo asked Nikki to sign with his record label FreeFlight Records. Nikki graciously accepted and has since recorded her first EP "Seasons to Eleanor," and her most recent follow-up EP "Eleanor." "Eleanor" includes three tracks produced and engineered by producer and friend, Adam Moritz. Nikki is currently working on her first full-length album, due out Spring of 2008.
