We originally started in 2002 with Sixto on vox, Mario on drums and Victor on guitar as PIGG, we were a cover band mainly playing Danzig, Misfits, Ministry and Metallica. We later recruited Carlos (guitarist for Pariah) and Frank on the bass, we were PIGG and we played our first show ever on 8/13/03 at Carlos Party, we weren't the best but we tried our hardest. Then our guitarist Victor and Carlos had some friction and Carlos left and we were four. Then we got our heads straight and started working on originals, we were originally wanting to be industrial but that didn't work out and it's kinda expensive. Our first song was "Nightstalker" then "My Disease" and the infamous "Piece of Lead" and the rest came. Later on we ran into some trouble with the name, it was taken so we searched and in March of 2004 we became Nihilism. But of course we had some trouble and Victor left the band and he played the last show on 8/21/04 at club GO, it didn't take long for us to find a new guitarist thanx to Frank, his name was Andy. So he came in and we started again with out loosing any momentum, we retouched the songs just a bit and we started on new songs the first being Prophecies, which didn't see the light of day till almost a year later, and we matured as a band but we always stuck to our rule which is to avoid sounding like anything out right now, no offence meant to anyone. And so, we are Nihilism...
