Before you get all tripped up over This Town Needs Guns' cryptic album title, 126.96.36.199.0, allow us to drop you a hint: the Mayans. Or, more specifically, the Mayan calendar's Long Count. And while the album's title signifies the beginning and end of creation, we have made it safely to 2013, so we're free to concentrate instead on the 12 tracks the effort is comprised of.
For their sophomore album, the UK indie pop outfit have blurred the lines between creativity and technicality, melody and experimentation, showcasing an effort that's as much a musical journey as it is a full-length record. Dive into these tunes with the album's exclusive premiere and make sure to pick it up when it drops January 22 via Sargent House.
