Tampa, Fla. indie rockers Tallhart pay tribute to sleepless nights and keg-filled house parties with the exclusive premiere of their new video, "Drunk Kids."
Filmed in their hometown with Ryan Gardner at 715 Franklin, the video sees the band journeying through a night of good-natured debauchery, partaking in standard Friday night rituals like beer pong and keg stands, before leading the party onto a killer roof deck adorned with white twinkle lights and a make-shift stage.
"I think with this being our first video we didn't really know what to expect but it turned out to be such a fun and memorable experience," says vocalist Matt Segallos. "Ryan Gardner and everyone at 715 Franklin worked so hard and made us feel at ease. I hope it's as fun to watch as it was to make!"
The track comes off the band's Bloodlines EP, which debuted on Max Bemis' (Say Anything) Equal Vision imprint Rory Records, and is out now. New music is on its way, though. The band is set to hit the studio this January with producer Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Sunny Day Real Estate, Say Anything).
"This new record is so important to me. It's our first chance to put a stamp on our sound and to really gain our identity. And I can't wait to work with Max [Bemis] and Brad," Segallos continues. "We're so lucky to be surrounded by so many talented and helpful people. I can't wait for people to hear it."
