Taking Back Sunday Sign to Hopeless Records; New Album Out Spring 2014

Taking Back Sunday are the newest members of the Hopeless Records family! In addition, the band has announced plans to release a full-length album Spring 2014.

Taking Back Sunday have been working on the forthcoming album since May with two different producers and have already completed some of the record with producer and sound engineer Marc Jacob Hudson (Saves the Day, the Swellers.) The band will head to Long Island in late August to put the finishing touches on the album with Mike Sapone (Brand New, O‘Brother).

And the good news doesn't stop there: Taking Back Sunday will also embark on a 23-date tour starting October 11, following a few September dates that include opening for Blink-182, Chicago's Riot Fest, and playing the rescheduled 2012 TAYF10 shows at Starland Ballroom, which was devastated during Hurricane Sandy. And yes: The band will likely play some new material to test it all out.

“We are extremely excited to be a part of the Hopeless Records Family and look forward to working with them. I have great respect for the label and the bands they support and we respect how hard they work together," shared TBS' Eddie Reyes in a statement. "We also can’t wait for everyone to hear our new album and we thank them in advance for their help in making that happen.”
