At long last, the debut solo album from My Morning Jacket's Jim James, Regions Of Light and Sound of God, can be streamed in full. The artist has unleashed the album in advance of its February 5 ATO Records release date, allowing fans to absorb all nine tracks before they can even hold the record in their hands.

As you may have gathered from previous album streams, like "Know Till Now" and "A New Life," this is an album that easily avoids categorization and most certainly positions James as a multi-faceted musician. There are hints of old-school R&B and hip-hop, touches of rock, and even hints of island folk, creating an effort that's diverse and imaginative, emotional and innovative.

In addition to the stream, James has announced a full US tour in support of the album. “I have put together a special band of some of my oldest pals to help bring this album to life on the road," James says. "We are very excited about it and cant wait to bring it to light!”

Pre-sale tickets will be exclusively available to Roll Call members (My Morning Jacket fan club) this Wednesday (January 30) at 12 PM EST and general on sales will begin this weekend.
