According to a band-issued statement, on the morning of November 30,
Maker was involved in a serious traffic incident while on tour in the state of Texas. The band lost control of their Chevrolet Suburban and consequently flipped the vehicle. Two were ejected and injured in the process. One member of Maker's crew is currently in critical condition.
Thankfully, Maker's label,
Animal Style Records, has kindly set up a donations fund via PayPal to assist the band with medical and accident-related expenses. Donations may be sent via PayPal to
makerdonations@gmail.com.
“This morning on our way to Texas we flipped our vehicle over. A few of us are injured; one in critical condition and the vehicle is totaled," Eric Soucy of Maker explains. "We're trying to raise money to help pay hospital bills and buy a new vehicle. Any help is appreciated and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.”
