Premiering exclusively here with PureVolume today is Luther's new music video for single "A Quiet Stretch of Weather."

"We shot this video in Asbury Park a few days before we left for Europe. [Director] Matt Gere and I drove around Asbury a few weeks earlier to scout locations in hopes of finding the dirtiest motel in town," shares
Luther guitarist Nick Harris. "I think we succeeded. When we got there to start shooting, the housekeeper told us to wait a few minutes so she could clean the room, we asked her not to. It looked like whoever was in there before us certainly had a good time."

"A Quiet Stretch of Weather" is off Luther's full-length album, Let's Get You Somewhere Else, which was released via Chunksaah [Bouncing Souls, Dave Hause, Tim Barry]. You can stream the album in its entirety now on their PureVolume page

"I didn't write this one, but my interpretation of it has always been that it's a song about shrugging some of the social dead weight from your shoulders and all the stress comes with that," adds Harris. "You know, sticking by the people you look out for and those who look out for you ; not letting yourself be a doormat. I always saw it as a really gorgeous and liberating song. Then I asked Phil [vocals, guitar] what it was about and he said, 'Oh, it's about my dog.'"
