PureVolume Exclusive! Ed Tullett Streams Never Joy + Launches Giveaway

Freshly signed to Equal Vision, and coming off the success of his achingly beautiful Trawl EP, Ed Tullett is gearing up to release his debut full-length, Never Joy, on December 4. Originally self-released last year, Never Joy has now been remastered by Christopher "Boomer" Brickman of Tallhart, and features a track off Tullett's split with Tallhart, "Eventual Body." A brand new song, "Twin," will also be featured on the iTunes exclusive release.

These 11 tracks showcase Tullett's incredible penchant for soul-stirring melodies, earthy instrumentals, and ethereal moods. Much like his Trawl EP, this effort rings with stunning imagination and a dreamer's mentality. Tracks like "Teeth" and "OD" ring with a Bon Iver-esque feel, taking cues from airy vocals and piercing emotion, while tracks like "Faker Death" and "Rewards/Forfeits" stray to singer/songwriter territory, showcasing jangling guitars and a true heart-on-your-sleeve sound.

While the album doesn't officially drop until next week, you can stream it in full right here. You can also pre-order the iTunes exclusive version here or pre-order the album as a special packaged bundle!

Feeling lucky? We have one of these bundles to give away! The package features a digital album, a limited-edition, screen-printed poster, and a copy of the Ed Tullett/Tallhart split 7" To enter, simply follow PV on Twitter and re-tweet this tweet. One winner will be chosen on Tuesday, December 4.
