Hailing from Western Massachusetts, Arrows Over Athens deliver a bold and varied sound to the pop-punk masses with their latest EP, The Atlas.
These four tracks showcase the quartet's unique take on the genre, setting each blazing riff and impassioned melody apart from other bands on the scene, thanks to innovative harmony parts and hooks that don't need to make a big deal of themselves to gain attention. Title track "Atlas" soars with a vibrant energy and emotionally charged vocals, while the following two tracks continue this trend adding their own signature flourishes. And yes, that EP closer is a cover of Rick Astley's classic "Never Gonna Give You Up"—and yes, it's giving the tune a delicious punk makeover.
