Yellowcard's Acoustic Album -- Three Thoughts
Is there anything better than violins and acoustic guitars? The answer is clearly "no," but if you're doubting, let Yellowcard's acoustic rendition of their entire When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes album make a believer out of you. To celebrate the new CD's full stream (which you can and should listen to over at AbsolutePunk), we've come up with three reasons why some acoustic Yellowcard is going to make your month.
1) There's nothing like stripping away layers of instrumentation to get the full affect of a song. "Hang You Up," "Life Of Leaving Home," and "Sing For Me" drip with raw emotion, letting the vocals drive verses, while the acoustics create pure, yet explosive choruses.
2) The incredible violin action on "Hide," "Soundtrack," and "See Me Smiling" will show you what's up.
3) "For You and Your Denial" in its entirety. Just listen... it speaks for itself.
