Twin Sister Debut "Bad Street" Video
"Tell me a secret/I won't tell anyone," singer Andrea Estrella breathes, on the chorus of Twin Sister's disco pop gem "Bad Street." The first single off their upcoming full-length, the tune has all the waa waa guitars and bubblegummy synths of something you would take of rollerskating too, with Estrella's signature floating vocals and tender-real lyrics. The video for the song is a Long Island (from whence the band hails) summer memory--bright pink cakes and the splash-so-big-it's-almost-empty cannonball of above-ground pools. The song is simultaneously reminescent of blondie, Kylie Minogue and the Talking Heads. Cotton candy soft but metallic and disco dark.
Twin Sister's debut LP, In Heaven, is out September 27th on Domino Records.
