Underwater Tiger Premiere "Shipwreck Love"

If you start to get the sense that things go a bit deeper than they appear while watching Underwater Tiger's new video for "Shipwreck Love," you're absolutely correct.  As the band explain it, the video is "less of a narrative performance and more of a metaphorical piece based on our music. The theme of the video is inspired by the lyric 'how can you move on when you're always looking back?'" Here, band members take to an ocean dock to confront their past haunts and fight their way towards a new beginning. "Viewers will be able to relate to each members "demons" that continue to weigh them down," the band continue. "Like any other obstacle in life, the only way to move on is to destroy your fear. To remove the lens you've relied on, so you can see the world with your own eyes."

Aside from the introspective inspiration this video jumps off of, it also offers stunning visuals. From sparkling ocean waves to a dark studio adorned with twinkle lights, there's a sense of hope within the darkness and the idea of beauty beyond the rough. It's a heartfelt and moving concept, and one which certainly sits well with this similarly inspiring song. Check out the video's premiere right here, and head to the band's PV profile to spin the album this tune comes off of, Where Miles Become Meaing, in full. You can also grab it for your collection via iTunes.
