The Walkmen Release New Videos for "The Love You Love" and "Heartbreaker"

The Walkmen have released two new music videos, "The Love You Love" and "Heartbreaker," both off the band's most recent album, Heaven. Directed by Sean Pecknold, "The Love You Love" [above] is a darkly comic look at a young boy who seems driven to insanity by his surroundings. Set in a wealthy suburban home and featuring more floating porcelain cats than one can comfortably handle, it's an interesting and obscure effort that falls more along the lines of "short film" than it does "music video." The video marks the 7th installment in Urban Outfitters' Music Video Series — a program dedicated to the support and promotion of independent artists and upcoming directors.

TW's video for "Heartbreaker," [below] focuses on scenes and settings from everyday urban life. Director Alex Southern has carefully captured the quiet beauty of hazy skylines, cracked sidewalks, graffiti wall portraits and sky-high buildings, creating a tribute to inner-city life that's both genuine and heartfelt. Check out both videos and grab Heaven via iTunes now.
