The Getaways are bringing new meaning to the phrase "short and sweet" with their new, acoustic EP Down To The Wire, Comprised of only three tracks, you'll find yourself surprised by how much ground they're able to cover despite the effort's condensed time frame. For starters, they've brought melody and poignancy to the forefront, ensuring that these tracks stand no chance of slipping through your emotional radar. Using these elements as solid ground, they continue to push simple acoustics to the point where vulnerability is no longer something to be concealed — or ashamed of.
