Free Music: Talia Billig Band's "Travel On" -- Song of the Day
Take note of who's in your classes, because they just might be in your band one day. At least, that's how it went for the Talia Billig Band. The quartet met while studying at The New School for Contemporary Jazz and Music, and with Billig's warm vocals at the core, went on to work and play together. Their new song, "Travel On", also speaks volumes to their training and unity as a band. Blending jazz, folk, and heart, this song showcases Billig's dreamy vocals seamlessly weaving through ethereal instrumentations. And, true to its title, with one listen you'll feel as though you're traveling along some sunlit street, basking in the rays and eagerly awaiting what else you'll find along the way.
