Didn't get a chance to catch Skip The Foreplay at Warped Tour this summer? Rest easy, friends. The electro-meets-metalcore outfit are now premiering a live video capturing their Warped performance of "Mash It Up." It's all here — the massive crowds, the blaring sun, the palpable energy and, of course, the boys' own unique blend of driving guitars, piercing electro, and slap-you-in-the-face vocal parts. It's the kind of video that allows you a backstage look at the band in action and it will certainly give you an idea of their daily show grind. It may also leave you that much more impressed when considering what conditions they had been touring under.
"This summer we had the chance to participate in our first Vans Warped Tour and, not taking into account the advice of other, more experienced bands, we decided to do the whole thing in a van which is, according to most, a recipe for disaster," recalls the band. "So by ourselves, with two friends along as crew, we braved America's hottest weather conditions. Our guitar player broke his knee, our merch guy was sent home halfway through the tour because he couldn’t cross the borders, the dust and dirt played hell on our gear, our tour manager got stuck in Atlanta, our stomachs' suffered from the energy drink binge-drinking, but we made it and loved it! This video was shot when the tour passed through California and it certainly shows you that the band came out of all of this stronger than ever. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun. Thank you Kevin Lyman and everyone from WARPED!"
Check it out, and if you're looking for a new opportunity to catch them live, stay tuned for a major fall tour announcement coming in the next few weeks.
