Sigur Rós' new video for "Rembihnútur" is a gorgeous study of various people in prayer or meditation. Using a stunning, black and white portrait-like affect, the video sequences the silent reveries of the young and the old, the distraught and the hopeful, the calm and the impassioned, creating an intimate look at one of the most private, yet universal of life's acts. This video marks the fourth installment of the band's "Valtari Mystery Film Experiment" — a series that features the work of a dozen filmmakers who have been given a strict budget, and have been instructed to create unique visuals based on their thoughts while listening to SR's Valtari. Check it out, and mark your calendar's for the next video installment to drop July 16.
