Ruin/Renewal bring you to a breezy, ocean town in their new cover video for "Broken Arrow". The Boston-based folk-rockers have transformed Robbie Robertson's original into a quiet ode to heartbreak, capturing the song's underlying sadness with sleepy acoustics and barely-there vocals. The video itself sees a woman at both love's peak and its subsequent downfall, allowing raw emotions to lead the way as simple imagery plays out in the background. The whole thing is surprisingly moving, proving the point that DIY flair is just as powerful as glossy shots and big-budget effects. Check it out, and take note that the band will follow up their recent [May 1] Chess Club EP with a full-length, Unknow You, this October.
