RDGLDGRN Stream New Song "I Love Lamp" ft. Dave Grohl

There are so many things right about RDGLDGRN's new tune, "I Love Lamp," which dropped today over at Rolling Stone.

First, there's the fact that you can never go wrong with a Steve Carell reference—especially when it's Steve Carell as Brick Tamland in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Then there's the obvious: the Washington D.C.-based trio have enlisted hometown hero and rock 'n' roll heavyweight Dave Grohl as the track's drummer.

Strip away these pop-culture highlights though, and you still have a song that's very much a big deal in its own right. Fusing breezy indie rock with pop-leaning hooks and hip-hop breakdowns, this tune manages to come off as feel-good despite its storyline of a failing relationship.

"I Love Lamp" comes off the band's debut self-titled EP, which drops February 12. Stream the track above and head to PV on release day to hear more from this band.
