Welcome to another edition of our PV Week In Review, where we take a look back at the top features and content to hit our main page Monday-Friday. Never ones to end the month without a bang, this past week was chock-full of exclusive interviews, song premieres, video premiers, and more. September's gearing up to be just as busy, so before we dive in, get yourself caught up on our top stories from August 27-31.

Circa Survive Q&A and Album Stream: After months of anticipation, Circa Survive dropped their exceptional new album, Violent Waves, this past Tuesday (August 28). To celebrate, we streamed the album in full. We also caught up with frontman Anthony Green to talk about staying weird, staying passionate, and learning the true definition of success.

Anberlin Stream New Song "Someone Anyone": Not only is this new song an incredible jam, it's packing a powerful message about the state of our world. As frontman Stephen Christian tells it, "This song was inspired by the peaceful Egyptian protests that began in 2011."

The Icarus Account Premiere New Album Carry Me Home: The dynamic duo of acoustic rock have hit gold yet again with the release of their new album, Carry Me Home. With their signature melody lines leading the way and varied emotions presented on all ten tracks of this album, their most personal release yet has also been one of their best.

Minus The Bear PV Video Q&A Part Two: Here's yet another band who's highly-anticipated new album, Infinity Overhead, dropped this past Tuesday. In correlation with the album's release, we featured the second and final part of our video interview with Jake Snider, Erin Tate, and Dave Knudson. And while part one had them talking business, this video exposes a more personal side as the guys curate their dream festival, share their craziest fan experience, and reveal which member is most unlikely to still be in the band.

Purity Ring Take the PV Q&A: In this exclusive interview, we caught up with electro-pop's favorite new duo to talk about band origins, their somewhat controversial name, their new album Shrine, and why they're presenting the most stylish live show around — from backdrops to instruments!

Morning Parade PV Session Part One: This UK quintet know how to put on a compelling acoustic show, and they didn't falter in doing so when they took to our studio to take part in our PV Sessions. This first half of their set features the achingly beautiful tune "Half Litre Bottle" and fan-favorite "Us & Ourselves." Watch out for part two, coming next week.

Paul Banks Takes the PV Q&A: In this exclusive interview, we caught up with Interpol's mysterious lead singer about his new solo album, Banks, and why songwriting is akin to archaeology.

Father John Misty Takes the PV Q&A: We caught up with the singer-songwriter (real name: Joshua Tillman) about religion and politics — not in that order — and the motivation behind renaming himself. Oh yeah, he also "meows" for us a bit.

X Take the PVQ&A: The legendary Exene Cervenka talks to us about whether or not we'll ever hear new X music. There's also talk of a little festival the band are taking part in this weekend — Jay Z's Made In America. Perhaps you've heard of it?

Get Scared Free MP3 and Exclusive Giveaway: These up-and-coming alt-rockers are offering up a free download of their massive new tune, "Start To Fall." We're also giving away three signed copies of their new EP to those who follow us on Twitter and re-tweet this tweet!

FIDLAR's Max Kuehn Takes the PV Q&A: In anticipation of their upcoming stint at FYF Fest, we sat down with drummer Max Kuehn to get the scoop on his favorite underground venues in LA and the best graffiti/spray paint art they've seen at their shows. He also coins a new term — "Shipster Phantoms!"

The Goodnight Premiere "The Love Left In You": In their new video, the LA based quintet prove that the good guy can get the girl if he tries hard enough. And by "tries hard enough," we mean "personally serenades her in front of the entire neighborhood."

All Time Low Release Don't Panic Album Teaser + Details: Details, get your details! Not only have All Time Low released the album art and tracklisting for their new album, Don't Panic, they're also giving you a sneak peek at it with a very new, very funny album teaser video.
