Polar Bear Club Covers Saves The Day's "At Your Funeral"
Polar Bear Club pay tribute to Saves The Day's classic "At Your Funeral" in this live rendition. Between gravelly vocals, jangling acoustics, and a seriously cool audience that likes to sing (and clap) along, we'd say this cover does the original justice. Admittedly, it's hard to find fault with this song any way you spin it, but there's something very special about PBC's take. Maybe it's the way that they've channeled the song's inner-anthem or the way that they personally sound moved by the work they're doing — whatever it is, sit back and enjoy it, because it's good.
The cover will be featured on an upcoming live acoustic album, Live At The Montage, which the band plan to drop on July 31 via Bridge Nine Records.
