Exclusive: Watch Pierce the Veil Record a Bruno Mars Cover
Pierce the Veil are coming for you, Bruno Mars. For the upcoming Punk Goes Pop Vol. 4 (set for a Nov. 21 release), the San Diego Fearless Records signees spent a day with Goldfinger frontman and veteran punk producer John Feldmann, getting in touch with their MTV side for a cover of Mars' "Just the Way You Are." There's no shortage of shenanigans in the video, but there's a decent amount of actual recording going on, including a debate on the breathiness of a passable Bruno Mars impression.
The last 30 seconds of the clip are straight audio of the final product, which will premiere with our friends over at Idolator on Oct. 17. Which will be amazing.
