Portland-from-way-of-Scranton indie punk rockers Lee Corey Oswald
are gearing up to release their debut full-length, Regards
, and today we're excited to premiere its title track. Drawing from the likes of '90s-style Weezer
and emo pioneers Knapsack
, LCO have found the sweet spot between the indie/folk the permeates through the West Coast and that raucus immediacy from the Northeast punk scene. Stream "Regards" above.
"This song is about acknowledging the differences between fact and opinion," says the band's Lee Ellis, "and that we're all entitled to expressing ourselves openly without repercussions for disagreeing with someone."
is slated for an August 5 release on No Sleep Records and can be pre-ordered through the label's official website
