PREMIERE: Big Harp Showcases Their Heavy Side on "Golden Age"

On their first album, the husband-wife tandem of Stefanie Drootin-Senseney and Chris Senseney explored a more relaxed intermix of Americana and folk music. While they enjoyed those soundings, on their upcoming album, Waveless, they went in an entirely different direction. That new sound is showcased on the delightful "Golden Age."

Featuring Chris on vocals, the song's blend of indie rock and breezy pop allows for his crunchy guitar riffs to shine during the latter half of the tune.

"The song is about the myth of endless decay and the myth of eternal progress and the permanent, mediocre reality where their slopes intersect," Drootin-Senseney explains. "Oh my god, I don't really talk like that. It's about how it's tempting to idolize the past or the future, because it's easy to imagine away all the rough, messy edges. It's also about sick riffs."

Waveless will be released this Friday via Majestic Litter. You can pre-order the album here. Check out the band's tour dates below:
