One of the more promising singer-songwriters to emerge in 2015 is Andrew St. James. The San Francisco-native's lo-fi sound blends deep introspective lyrics with a brooding, haunting instrumentation that hallows his voice to shine. Today, we're excited to premiere St. James' latest track in the form of "Dangerous Love." St. James' vintage, stripped down sound shines on this track, channeling songwriting greats like Daniel Johnston and Lou Reed. "Dangerous Love" flows so naturally that it's easy to get lost in the songwriter's words.
"I wrote 'Dangerous Love' for a dear friend while passing through Los Angeles several months back," St. James says of the track. "We've all got a little love for being wild, some of us have so much love for it things become a little dangerous -- I guess this ones about that."
Andrew St. James' "Dangerous Love" is the latest in a series of unreleased tracks that he's been unveiling this fall.
