The project follows the launch of Bon Iver's "Stem Project," which invites fans and fellow musicians to remix a track off the band's renowned Bon Iver, Bon Iver, with the winning entry set for inclusion on their forthcoming Spotify remix album. Hale's interpretation is a gorgeous take on the original, carefully conserving the track's delicate nuances and earthy aesthetic, while adding definitive touches such as steadfast clacks, tonal shifts, and ambient overlays.
