My Chemical Romance to Step In for Blink-182 at Bamboozle 2012
Sad news for Blink-182 fans. It's just been announced that the band has had to drop off their May 19 [Saturday] headlining stint at this year's Bamboozle festival, due to an emergency tonsillectomy for Travis Barker. My Chemical Romance will be stepping in to round out the main stage performances for that night, and are set to perform before the Foo-Fighters. While Blink will be greatly missed, the addition of MCR is an exciting one, and the festival looks forward to a successful weekend.
