My Arcadia Premiere New EP 'Stay'
Bronx-based quintet My Arcadia are back with a new EP, Stay, which continues to build on the solid alt/rock they've come to make their signature sound. These five tracks feature soaring instrumentation, emotive vocals, varied percussion parts, and powerful guitar riffs, keeping up constant energy and always moving forward. "Sail On" toys with dreams and memories to create an atmospheric piece that's as brooding as it is hopeful, while title-track "Stay" plays with speed, constantly building up and scaling back so as to create epic contrast. Closing track "See Me Through The Fire" offers dark soundscapes and hooky melodies, effortlessly sealing the deal on an EP that proves its importance to the genre.
