Bon Iver's Just Vernon Begins New Project with Astronautilis
Justin Vernon can now add "hip-hop/folk quartet" to his always-expanding list of undertakings. The Bon Iver frontman announced earlier that he has formed a new band with indie rapper Astronautilis, and that the two began recording a new album this past weekend. The project also includes Gayngs' Ryan Olson and Bon Iver's drummer S. Carey, and will be more of a "free-form" thing, as Astronautilis revealed to City Pages.
